Day 18 - Picking a brand name, and I think its the one

Hello! If you're new around here, my name is Krystal and I've committed to journaling every day for a year. I write these raw journal entries. What is unique about my style of writing is that I don't necessarily follow the rules or writing. My aim is to write as closely as I talk. What you will also find in my journal entries is transparency. I give you a front row seat to my inner dialogue. That inner critic who shows up from time to time, I show you exactly when it shows up and how I shift. My hope is that I inspire you to keep on going despite what your inner critic is telling you at the moment.

March 17th, 2024 

I did not blog yesterday.

I actually slept in till 11. Which is really late for me. What I suspect is happening is that I am learning so much and going through such a transition in life that my brain just needs to sleep to get caught up.

I feel great today! 

Ever since I started seeing this as a total career change and that I’m just learning a new career so much pressure was lifted off of me. 

I’m owning who I am. 

I’m a 35 year old corporate drop out. Who is committed to starting a new career in the online space. I don’t really know what I’m doing yet, but I'm willing to practice in front of everyone. 

I have my cooking show I do on TikTok 

I have my books I wrote

I have this blog

I have Clapper.

Clapper and this blog are similar. 

With Clapper, I’m just going to have fun with it.

And Friday. I think I found a Brand name that I am absolutely in love with! 

It’s called Krystal Lavender 

Krystal Lavender is the culmination of all of the things I’ve been working towards. It encompasses it all! 

I made a new Clapper account the other day and I needed to come up with a new name. I used my first name of course and  then the Lavender part was influenced by my newest nail color. 

I love it for so many reasons. 

Krystal means sparkling and clear. And Lavendar to about being calm, peaceful, relaxing. Serene. So this combination of both just makes my heart feel so full.

It's both of what I'm committed to being. 

Sparkling, clear, calm and grounded. 

There is something special about this sense of clarity and bring calmness to the storm or chaos around you.

My brand is all my brands coming together as one.

1. You gotta dream big - People dreaming big and having the confidence to do so. 

2. Letters to you - spotting the greatness in each other so that we can live the life of our dreams 

3. Pipeline Strategy - Helping others grow their businesses.

4. Growth Edge Coaching - a place where I get to help people grow and find their growth edge.

All housed under the brand of Krystal Lavender. 

What I also love about it is that it is a bit agnostic. It allows me to be broad so I find my niche. 

I wasn’t going to buy the domain….but I couldn’t help myself. It’s $27 for the year. 

It’s the evolving of my brand and picking something that is authentically me.
